Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HSE Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our HSE processes. You will collaborate with various departments and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and conducts training of employees for safe and healthy work;
• Prepares instructions for safe and healthy work and controls their application;
• Proposes a ban on work at the workplace or the use of means of work, in case it determines an immediate danger to the life or health of the employee;
• Cooperates and coordinates work with the occupational medicine service on all issues of safety and health at work;
• Collects and submits documentation and coordinates work with all persons in charge of safety and health at work;
• Keeps the prescribed records in the field of safety and health at work;
• Plans and performs a preventive tour of all construction sites, as well as the adoption of proposals for measures to eliminate deficiencies;
• Organizes the undertaking of measures for elimination of deficiencies stated in the report and / or decision of the inspector for safety and health at work made during their inspection;
• Contact with authorized organizations and institutions in order to engage them in performing certain tasks prescribed by law and other regulations in the field of safety and health at work;
• Organizes training of employees in safety and health at work;
• Follows legal regulations and modern standards in the field of safety and health at work;
• Keeps all prescribed records and performs the necessary assessments, analyzes and studies in the field of safety and health at work;
• Participates in risk assessment at the workplace and in the work environment and applies safety and health measures at work and instructions for safe work, in order to exercise rights and obligations in the field of safety and health at work;
• Performs other tasks ordered by the HSE manager, ie the competent employee that are in accordance with the nature and type of work, and within his education and working abilities.

Requirements:

• At least 6 years working experience, preferably in international construction company;
• Fluent English language proficiency;
• Computer literacy, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word;
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
