NIDEC ELESYS EUROPE in Novi Sad will produce inverters and other electronic control systems for electric and hybrid vehicles.
For our manufacturing site based in Novi Sad, Serbia we are looking for a
Industrialization Engineer
General purpose:
Responsible for planning and executing efficient production processes, coordinating projects independently, and supporting the integration of new equipment through procurement, installation, and procedural development. Also, organizes CIP workshops with technical teams and evaluates existing production methods to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Determining the production sequence while considering given deadlines, production capacity, material availability, and order status;
- Coordinating and planning customer orders without fixed deadlines, including trial and special programs, taking into account staffing and technical capacities;
- Testing and evaluating new technical equipment in collaboration with the manufacturer and the local team;
- Testing new production lines, analyzing and resolving issues related to new products and associated production lines;
- Monitoring and providing support during and after the handover phase of the production line to serial production;
- Planning, organizing, modernizing, implementing, and evaluating improvement workshops using an established range of methods (e.g. value stream mapping, production start-up time improvement workshops, Six Sigma), in accordance with superior guidelines;
- Preparing, initiating, evaluating, and documenting production process testing;
- Traveling to customer sites for design reviews, research, installation, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Degree in mechanical engineering or similar with a focus on planning / production required;
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience, profound knowledge of automation and assembly technology;
- Advanced knowledge of 2D/3D CAD software environments;
- Good understanding of technical relationships and ability to quickly familiarize with new topics;
- Experience in LEAN Production systems;
- Entire MS Office suite;
- Advanced English spoken and written skills;
- Increased willingness to travel;
