Injection Molding Process Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

• Be familiar with injection molding raw materials, independently perform mold assembly, equipment startup, and production adjustments to ensure production efficiency.
• Follow daily workshop task assignments, coordinate production operations and mold changes for the team, track progress, and ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct on-site inspections, monitor equipment status and product quality, and address abnormalities promptly while reporting to production supervisors.
• Participate in process optimization, adjusting parameters such as temperature and pressure to improve product yield.
• Perform daily equipment inspection, cleaning, and maintenance, and maintain accurate equipment records according to company standards.
• Guide assistant and general workers in proper operational procedures, ensuring quality standards and minimizing human errors.
• Regularly report production data, process issues, and improvement suggestions to department leadership.
• Ensure compliance with production standards and quality requirements from industry and customers.
• Participate in feasibility assessments for new injection molding projects.
• Develop, adjust, and optimize technical process parameters, and prepare relevant process documentation.
• Review new project designs, providing preventive measures for molds, materials, and structural dimensions.
• Handle, analyze, and resolve production process issues, and implement corrective measures.
• Provide technical support and supervision during the injection molding process.
• Submit PPAP and APQP documentation for new projects.
• Complete other tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school, vocational, or undergraduate degree in Polymer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in injection molding or plastic part production; experience in motor core or automotive parts is a plus.
• Proficient in CAD or SolidWorks, and skilled in operating injection molding machines.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding materials, mold structures, and production processes.
• Solid practical operation skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in English to support document translation and work instructions.
• Knowledge of office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
