IT Administrator / Specialist

Zijin Hotel Belgrade, managed by Alba Invest d.o.o., is looking for an experienced IT Administrator / Specialist to support high standards of technology, security, and guest experience across all hotel systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administration, maintenance, and optimization of the hotel’s IT infrastructure, including network equipment (switches, routers, Wi-Fi, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP).
• Management of server room / data center: servers (Windows Server), virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V), UPS, cabling standards, access control, and documentation.
• Administration of core IT services: Active Directory, file and print services, email systems, Microsoft 365 / Azure AD / Exchange Online.
• Backup management, restore testing, system updates, patching, and performance monitoring.
• Operation, support, and coordination of key hotel systems:
• PMS (Opera / Fidelio), CRS & Booking Engines (iHotelier), POS systems, Channel Manager (e.g. Octopus), electronic door locks, IPTV, telephony, smart room systems, and hotel website/CMS.
• Ensuring information security and data protection: firewall administration, VPN, IDS/IPS, log monitoring, incident response, and compliance with GDPR and PCI-DSS standards.
• Providing IT support (helpdesk) to all hotel departments and maintaining IT equipment and asset inventory.

Requirements:

• University or college degree in IT, Computer Systems, Networking, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT administration or network maintenance (hospitality experience is an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, virtualization, Microsoft 365, and hotel IT systems.
• Knowledge of network security, firewall solutions (e.g. Fortinet, Palo Alto, H3C), and backup procedures.
• Strong analytical skills, independence, responsibility, and professional communication.
• Willingness to work outside standard hours when urgent interventions are required.
