Position overview:

The essential purpose of the function is accounting/finance support to our business in Europe, Middle East and Africa and North and Central America. Dealing with reconciling AP and AR accounts, and actively taking participation in creation of relevant reports, respecting the local GAAP requirements and existing company procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Active participation in the processes of: intercompany adjustment, reconciliation, posting and checking accruals, reporting;
• Performing various general accounting and intercompany activities;
• Preparing and booking journal entries into SAP and JDE, including various accruals, provisions, reclassifications.
• Performing Month end closing activities;
• Initiating, reviewing and following all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for area of responsibility;
• Responding to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders;
• Participation in audit preparation and support in area of responsibility;

What are we looking for?

• Qualification to degree level with focus in Finance/Accounting
• At least 1-2 years of working experience in finance area and in international environment
• Microsoft office (knowledge of Excel), preferable experience in SAP, JD Edwards will be an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of English language, other languages will be an advantage
• Strong skills in organization, multi-tasking, consistent accuracy, customer service, effective communication, analysis, problem solving
• Analytical and detail oriented person, with focus on achieving results
• Must be able to organize, plan, prioritize and meet deadlines
