LOGISTICS ASSISTANT

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Control of goods reception, posting and recording of differences during import, as well as clearing entries in the system;
• Posting of imported goods entries;
• Maintenance of the customs logbook;
• Support in organizing the warehouse and customs warehouse;
• Requesting and purchasing materials and supporting items for production (outside of standard norms);
• Support to the Logistics and Warehouse Department Manager  in preparing invoices for export of finished goods, machines, spare parts, claims, and packaging;
• Participation in organizing department operations and team coordination during the shift;
• Independent organization of the workplace;
• Preparation of reports;
• Training of new employees within own scope of work;
• Substitution of the supervisor within defined responsibilities in their absence;
• Management of packaging and transport of finished goods, maintenance of minimum stock levels, optimization of received goods quantities, and system posting;
• Planning and organization of inventory counts;
• Recording and reporting on textile waste, label waste, and packaging from production;
• Communication and correspondence with the headquarters within own domain;
• Compliance with occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and fire safety regulations.

Required skills/profile:

• High school diploma;
• Experience in similar logistics roles, preferably in a manufacturing or textile environment is an advantage;
• Basic knowledge of customs procedures and documentation is an advantage;
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel;
• Strong organizational and communication skills;
• Willingness to work in a team and communicate daily with various departments;
• Responsibility, accuracy, and ability to work independently;
• Knowledge of English (knowledge of German is an advantage).
