Logistics Operations Manager

As our new Operations Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our U.S. freight operations in Belgrade - leading carrier sales, building partnerships, and driving efficiency across our logistics network. We’re looking for a proactive leader ready to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage carrier sales operations in Belgrade, ensuring dependable and compliant carrier capacity for U.S. freight
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owner-operators, small fleets, and asset-based carriers across North America
• Oversee carrier vetting and onboarding to meet safety, insurance, and performance standards
• Collaborate daily with U.S. operations to align carrier capacity with customer demand
• Negotiate rates and contracts balancing service quality, cost, and margin goals
• Recruit, train, and develop carrier sales representatives and capacity managers
• Implement SOPs, KPIs, and best practices for carrier engagement and compliance
• Utilize TMS and CRM tools (e.g., McLeod, Turvo, or similar) for data management and performance tracking
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to optimize capacity and reduce risk

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in U.S. truckload, freight brokerage, or carrier sales
• Strong understanding of U.S. freight markets, regulations, and carrier sourcing
• Proven experience in leading and scaling carrier sales or capacity teams, ideally in international settings
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
• Proficiency with TMS and carrier compliance platforms (e.g., RMIS, Carrier411, SaferWatch)
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to drive strategic initiatives

Preferred:

• Experience working with a U.S.- based 3PL or freight brokerage
• Knowledge of specialized or high-value freight handling
• Ability to coordinate cross-border operations with U.S. leadership
