Maintenance Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for defining, planning and realizing plans of preventive maintenance in accordance with supplier recommendations, history of the problems and business best practices in the industry to ensure efficient operation of the production line.
• Responsible for defining, preparation and management of all necessary procedures and work instructions.
• Diagnoses and resolves malfunctions in machines and equipment, manages planning and records of performed services, repairs, modifications, or reconstructions of production equipment in the Plant.
• Responsible for the management of technical documentation for machines and other equipment, furthermore for installations in plant.
• Responsible for updating the machine register folder for defining and creating inspection lists, also for planning, execution and scheduling of inspections according to yearly preventive maintenance plan and inputting these data into CMMS system.
• Responsible for carrying out a risk analysis of the equipment, defining critical machines, defining critical parts and assemblies and accordingly defining contingency plans to reduce risks.
• Monitoring and applying legal regulations, legal legislation and standards related to installation and usage of all equipment and systems in the Plant.
• Preparation of appropriate analyses and reports on the condition of equipment in the plant.
• Participation in the planning and implementation of plans for overhauls of the equipment in the Plant.
• Preparation of procurement plans for materials and spare parts necessary for the uninterrupted operation of equipment in the plant.
• Works closely with external contractors (organization, supervision) who are engaged as needed during reconstructions of existing equipment, introduction of new equipment, repairs, or when constructing new facilities.
• Involved in designing, ordering and commissioning all new equipment, also the modification of existing equipment for its use in new projects.
• Making proposals for improving the preventive maintenance system and developing and improving procedures.
• Maintenance of automatic lines, systems and equipment to ensure its smooth operation.
• Responsible for optimizing equipment and improving assemblies, devices and machines.

Position Requirements:

• Technical university degree
• 1–3 years of work experience in a manufacturing company
• Intermediate English language skills
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Specialized knowledge and skills:

• Knowledge of mechanical assemblies and systems
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Creation of maintenance plans – autonomous, preventive, and predictive
• Risk analysis for equipment, defining critical machines and critical parts and assemblies, defining plans for critical situations
