Position Overview: As our Maintenance Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our fleet operates reliably. Your expertise will help us maintain the highest standards of vehicle upkeep and repair, keeping our drivers safe and our operations efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and advise on repairs and maintenance for company trucks and trailers.
• Keep track of all company vehicles in a detailed spreadsheet, documenting repairs, maintenance dates, DOT inspection expirations, and upcoming oil changes.
• Coordinate repairs for trucks on the road when necessary and offer support to drivers during emergencies.
• Ensure prompt payment for repairs required for company trucks, whether owned or leased, and provide invoices to the accounting department for expenses incurred.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with all drivers regarding vehicle status and any necessary maintenance.
• Stay organized and detail-oriented in managing maintenance schedules to ensure vehicle readiness.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year or relevant experience
• Experience with the ProTransport program and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with drivers and other team members.
