Position Summary
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting and executing integrated marketing initiatives that build brand awareness, engagement, and growth for InnovateMR + Ivy Exec. This role manages social media (with a strong emphasis on LinkedIn), content creation, creative development, campaign execution, and marketing data and community management within HubSpot. Working closely with the SVP, Marketing and Communications, and cross-functional teams, the Marketing Specialist helps amplify brand values, strengthen industry reputation, and support client loyalty through data-driven, inclusive, and impactful marketing strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Plan, manage, and execute InnovateMR + Ivy Exec’s social media strategy, with primary responsibility for LinkedIn content, engagement, and performance.
- Own and maintain the social media content calendar across brands, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with brand messaging.
- Create, edit, and publish engaging written, visual, and video content for internal and external audiences, including social posts, 1-pagers, proposals, case studies, and campaign assets. Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Design and produce graphics and short-form video content within Canva to support marketing, sales, and internal communications initiatives.
- Manage InnovateMR + Ivy Exec’s online presence, monitor audience engagement, and actively support community interaction across social channels.
- Support the planning, execution, and optimization of email marketing campaigns & newsletters using HubSpot.
Manage and maintain marketing data, contacts, segmentation, and workflows within HubSpot to support lead nurturing and community engagement. - Track, analyze, and report on marketing performance & attribution across social, content, email, and campaign initiatives, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure marketing efforts align with organizational goals and objectives, along with creating and enhancing client presentations/proposals.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews on social media platforms.
- Assist on and create content as it relates to conference submissions, awards, e-mail campaigns, social media posts, etc.
- Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and inclusive communication best practices.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to nurture leads and retain customers.
- Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve marketing effectiveness and audience engagement
- Stay updated with all platform algorithms to inform future strategies.
- Provide routine and concise updates as it relates to the company’s social media/content strategy as well as key marketing campaigns with measurable ROI.
- Assist with any general marketing questions or concerns for the team.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Experience in managing social media platforms.
- Demonstrated strong analytical/problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Proven copy-writing skills and graphical expertise.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience creating targeted content for a company/brand.
- Exhibited leadership skills to take projects and ideas from conception to conclusion with positive results.
- Ability to multi-task while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented, flexible, and resourceful.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- A degree in marketing research or equivalent marketing knowledge is preferred.
- Adept at using technological resources including Excel and an aptitude to use web-based tool.
