Sales Manager – Serbia (Logistics & Transport)
Position Objective
The Sales Representative for Serbia is responsible for developing the company’s business activities in the field of logistics and transport across the Serbian market and the wider Balkan region. The role involves actively identifying new business opportunities, maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients, and representing the company in dealings with industrial, trade, and manufacturing partners.
This position is ideal for a Serbian national with strong sales experience, excellent knowledge of the regional market, and a proven background in multinational companies. The representative plays a key role in promoting the company’s image, expanding market presence, and driving growth throughout the Balkans.
Main Responsibilities
- Actively identifying and developing new business opportunities in logistics and transport across Serbia and the Balkan region.
- Managing and expanding relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term cooperation and satisfaction.
- Negotiating commercial terms, preparing quotations, cost calculations, and contracts.
- Collaborating closely with internal company departments (dispatch, operations, customer service, finance).
- Monitoring market developments, competitors, and logistics trends to identify new opportunities.
- Representing the company at business meetings, trade fairs, and industry events.
- Regular reporting of sales activities, market feedback, and results to company management.
- Accountable for achieving sales targets, maintaining service quality, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Supporting regional business development and logistics projects across the Balkans.
Candidate Requirements
- Nationality: Serbian – with in-depth understanding of the local and regional business environment.
- Languages: Serbian (native), English (fluent – written and spoken).
- Experience: 2–5 years in a sales position within logistics, transport, forwarding, or related services; experience in a multinational company is a strong advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong customer orientation and goal-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Solid knowledge of regional transport infrastructure and logistics processes.
- Professional demeanor and ability to represent the company effectively.
- Driving license: Category B.
- Location: Based in Serbia, with flexibility to travel across the Balkan region.
