Network Engineer (Network & Security team)

We are looking for a motivated Network engineer with solid networking fundamentals, who enjoys building practical experience in complex real-world network environments. 

In this role, you will be working alongside experienced engineers on the design, delivering and support of various network solutions for branch offices, datacenter and cloud for our customers - companies of various verticals and sizes in the Adriatic region and EU.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in deployment, delivery and technical support for various network and security technologies for customers, both remotely and on-site
• Assist in the design, optimization, and continuous improvement of customer’s network architectures and Coming cloud platform.
• Provide technical support to the sales team during the pre-sales process
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies through continuous learning and occasional professional certification related to the technologies used in day-to-day work

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a network engineer position, preferably in a service provider organization or in a medium to large enterprise
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, NAT, routing protocols)
• Experience in TCP/IP network administration (e.g. switching, routing, firewall, wireless)
• Ability to troubleshoot network issues in a structured and logical manner.
• Basic experience with network monitoring tools and best practices for early problem detection
• Basic knowledge of information security good practices and implementation of security concepts in networking
• Fluency in spoken and written English

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
• IT certifications (e.g. Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet, CompTIA, etc.)
• Previous experience with Cisco, Aruba, Huawei, Check Point and/or Fortinet solutions
• Previous experience with public or private cloud
• B category driver’s license
