Your job

• Providing support to local participants in the form of selection and registration (maintenance of documentation required for registration)
• Increasing the use of the e-procurement system (WPS) and reducing procurement beyond the official supplier, providing training in the area of the e-procurement system (WPS) to local participants
• Ensuring delivery of materials and services to the location in accordance with agreements with suppliers
• Negotiating locally and contracting in line with global commodity managers to ensure local processes run smoothly without risk of disruption
• Managing local savings, negotiating bonuses in line with departmental goals
• Actively work on risk assessment and mitigation to ensure reliability of supply in cooperation with the participants and the main contact person for the participants in the respective location
• Support Global Commodity Managers and drive implementation of on-site supplier agreements by working closely with local stakeholders to ensure compliance
• First point of contact in the event of escalation of site operational issues (delivery delays, quality issues, inadequate performance, etc.)
• Driving efficiency and actively seeking to optimize procurement processes in accordance with corporate procedures
• Supplier risk management through proactive monitoring of supplier base or site changes
• RFQ support for purchase orders, ensuring that a preferred supplier is used
• Contribution to the development of procurement strategies and their establishment at the location
• Support local purchase orders (POs) in accordance with existing contracts and commercial terms

Your profile

• Market knowledge (KH) and market research skills
• Minimum VII degree of vocational education
• Strategy development skills (eg SWOT, radar net tables, regression analysis...)
• Project management skills / very good social skills (supplier relationship management, regular internal executive contacts)
• Legal background skills and knowledge of SAP
• Negotiation skills and ability to work in teams
• Advanced English language skills
• Good communication skills, very good presentation skills and rhetorical abilities
• Structured approach to complex challenges
