Barentz is a respected international company, a global leader in the distribution of high-quality ingredients and raw materials for various industries. We are looking for a highly organized and proactive individual for the position of Office Assistant/Administrator
who will provide support in daily office operations, accounting processes, HR administration, and communication with internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing invoices through an electronic document management system (download, verification, approval) and preparing payment lists.
- Managing the archive register and entering documentation in accordance with legal regulations.
- Coordinating with the accounting department and maintaining financial and insurance records.
- Document management: archiving, contract processing, and preparing import-related documentation.
- HR administration: travel orders, annual leave records, employee notifications, and providing support to the HR team at the company’s headquarters abroad.
- Operational support: handling incoming and outgoing mail, office and vehicle administration, communication with suppliers, IT support, and the office landlord.
- Organizing business travel (hotel and flight bookings) and assisting visitors.
- Procuring office supplies and maintaining essential office inventory.
- Answering phone calls and providing professional support to clients and guests in the office.
Requirements
- College or university diploma in business administration or related fields
- Previous experience in daily accounting/financial and administrative operations will be considered an advantage
- Good organizational skills, accuracy in work with great attention to details
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, with proficient communication abilities
- Fluency in English, full and professional literacy in Serbian
- Advanced computer skills (MS office)
- Dynamic, enthusiastic and proactive with a positive “can-do” attitude.
