Our story   

During 17 years of business in the Western Balkans market, following the acquisition of Marbo Product (established in 1995), PepsiCo has invested in new production lines, capacity expansion, portfolio growth, improved working conditions, employee development, and environmental protection initiatives. The plant in Maglic (Bački Petrovac, Serbia) also produces the globally recognized Lay’s brand, made from locally sourced raw materials for export to several EU markets. The business in Bosnia and Herzegovina operates through three distribution centers.

Responsibilities   

• Lead packaging improvement projects across all lines.
• Provide support to CI structure by supporting DMSs DH, CL, and CIL, and act as a trainer/coach for Packaging Machine Operators (PMOs) to embed CI methodology in daily operations.
• Collaborate with Production, Commercial, and Procurement teams to align initiatives with business objectives.
• Develop technical capability for new PMOs and ensure skill continuity in packaging teams.
• Monitor and deliver packaging performance metrics (KPIs).
• Incorporate FS/HS and quality standards in all packaging projects.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovations in packaging operations.
• Share best practices and lessons learned with colleagues from other factories.
• Support training and development of packaging team members.
• Participate in selection and evaluation of candidates for packaging roles.

Requirements  

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Agricultural Science (with focus on food), or Mechanical Engineering,
• Previous experience on the same or similar role,
• Qualifications for DMSs CL, CIL, DH,
• Good knowledge of MS Office,
• Ability to manage complex challenges in packaging,
• Analytical thinking,
• Ability to simultaneously manage different priorities and work under pressure,
• Good influencing, presentation, communication and decision-making skills,
• Result orientation, demonstrate problem-solving capabilities,
• Good knowledge of English.
