Planning Manager (Electrical & ELV Contracting)

– Construction – Electrical Engineering

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Engineering degree (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / MEP or related).
• Strong experience in planning/project controls on MEP/electrical/ELV contracting projects, including leadership exposure.
• Expert knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong capability in data-driven reporting, progress measurement, and executive-level schedule communication.
• Solid understanding of contractual principles related to time, change management, and claims support.
• Professional English communication skills.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the same field.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

• Serbian language (spoken/written) and familiarity with Serbian regulations / local approval & compliance processes.
• Experience setting up project controls standards across a portfolio (multi-project environment).
• Advanced analytics and reporting automation (Power BI, SQL, dashboards).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (baseline + updates) using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Own integrated master schedules, collect and validate progress data from site teams, engineering, procurement, and subcontractors; and ensure alignment across engineering, procurement, site installation, and commissioning.
• Produce weekly/monthly planning outputs: look-ahead, critical path narratives, progress dashboards, and stakeholder reports.
• Support cost control by correlating progress, quantities, productivity and schedule performance (as applicable: earned value / trends / forecasts).
• Maintain planning standards, reporting templates, and planning data discipline across projects. 
• Lead the planning function across one or multiple projects.
• Define planning governance: templates, baselining rules, updating cycles, reporting cadence, and quality checks.
• Establish/ review WBS and challenge project plans: activity logic, critical path, constraints, resource assumptions, sequencing and recovery plans.
• Oversee delay analysis and provide robust time-related contractual support (EOT/claims/variations interface).
• Strengthen cost & schedule integration (trend analysis, progress-based forecasting, productivity monitoring, reporting).
• Provide planning input during bid/tender stage when required (preliminary schedules, duration assumptions, phasing strategy).
• Communicate schedule status clearly to internal leadership, clients, and key stakeholders.
