Process Engineer Milling (m/f/d)

We are looking for:

Process Engineer Milling (m/f/d) responsible for planning of operations, work sequences, production tools and equipment according to valid regulations and to provide technical engineering support for the milling process.

Tasks:

• Developing and implementing industrialization processes for mechanical operations (turning, milling, grinding)
• Monitoring and updating work plans in response to changes in documentation and processes
• Planning and evaluating rehearsals, analyzing deviations, and implementing cost-saving measures
• Preparing and reviewing inspection plans and documents, defining testing procedures to ensure product quality 
• Providing technical support for procurement and modification of process tools and equipment
• Supervising repair plans within the workshop and ensuring adherence to airworthiness regulations
• Representing the organization in internal and external committees and supporting audits
• Collaborating with teams to assess new repairs and process methods, including participation in business case evaluations

Requirements:

• University degree in technical sciences, engineer of technical sciences
• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in drafting or engineering, ability to read, understand and translate technical manuals and drawings; experience in NC programming
• In-depth knowledge of CNC programming techniques, CNC software, testing and inspection processes
• In-depth knowledge of processing, testing and examination processes, incl. knowledge of the error detection process 
• Knowledge of relevant materials such as processing materials and consumables
• MS Office; Siemens or related NC controller, experience with SAP, CAD, Exapt, Siemens NX preferred
• High technical affinity, preferably knowledge of engine technology
• Self-management skills; Project management; Ability to manage complex problems; Decisive and able to work under pressure; Intercultural competence; strong customer focus; Strong written and verbal communication skills
• English language (written and fluent oral communication)
