Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement, developing and implementing solutions, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Responsible for the continuous use of Lean (and other) tools to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality in the production process.
Responsible for:
- Implementation of new projects into the production process.
- Creating the necessary documentation, procedures and instructions
- Machine preparation and proper utilization of their capacity. Optimization of production line capacity and layout design.
- Defining and controlling parameters of the technological process in production.
- Standardization, creation of new, and updating existing procedures, guidelines and work instructions.
- Limiting deviations in production processes, aiming to reduce waste in processes.
- Defining process times and cycles.
- Proposing improvements to production processes through constant search for solutions to achieve the best results in productivity.
- Responsible for creating a detailed plan for all activities (OIL).
- Proposes technical solutions to reduce process variations, reduce IPPM and reduce machine downtime.
- Supports maintenance colleagues in defining root cause analyses for technical errors and supports in defining, designing, ordering and commissioning of new equipment.
- Responsible for setting up a quick change over process in the cells.
- Leads cost saving and improvement projects (Burst Kaizen, VA-VE, Cost Saves) in his zone of responsibility.
- Responsible for the design and development of processes in pre-series production (APQP), for process flow mapping, for planning and implementing of each change in plant and factory layouts.
- Participation in the creation and updating of process flow and PFMEA.
- Resolve emergencies and ensure smooth operation of the production line.
- Participating in process validation in pre-series production (APQP), preparing reports on the commissioning of new equipment or products and defining actions to overcome identified deviations.
- Responsible for the process capability study in the production of prototype series and defining process parameters to achieve a standard process.
Position Requirements:
- University degree organizational studies or a technical field (Mechanics, Electronics, or Mechatronics).
- 1–3 years of work experience in a manufacturing company
- Intermediate English language skills
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Specialized knowledge and skills:
- Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Works, etc.).
- LEAN system and tools.
- Knowledge of VDA 6.3, IATF 16949, ISO9001.
