Project Manager

New Energy Solutions is a fast-paced company focused on delivering innovative, sustainable solutions across engineering, energy, the environment, and infrastructure. We are looking for a technically oriented Project Manager (with an engineering background) to lead and coordinate the development of multiple renewable energy projects in parallel across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the development of multiple renewable energy projects (solar, wind, BESS, or hybrid projects) in parallel, from early-stage development through permitting and pre-construction.
• Work closely with internal multidisciplinary teams (engineering, environmental, legal, land, grid) and external consultants.
• Plan, monitor, and control project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely, cost-effective execution.
• Coordinate technical studies, designs, surveys, and permitting-related documentation.
• Actively track project risks, identify possible problems early, and proactively propose mitigation measures.
• Ensure alignment between technical solutions, regulatory requirements, and project development objectives.
• Prepare and review reports, summaries, presentations, and technical input for stakeholders.
• Communicate project status, progress, and challenges clearly to management, both verbally and in written form.
• Support coordination with public authorities, municipalities, utilities, and other stakeholders as required.

Candidate profile:

• University degree in an engineering discipline (electrical, mechanical, civil, energy, or similar).
• Experience in project management within renewable energy, infrastructure, or energy-related projects is an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Able to proactively address potential issues.
• Collaborative working style and team-player attitude.
• Able to perform efficiently in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to the team’s success.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with the infrastructure permitting process in Serbia is an advantage.
• Experience in working with the public sector and local municipalities is desirable but not necessary.
