QA/Tester

Location: Belgrade, Serbia (Hybrid)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote);

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated QA/Tester to join our team in Belgrade, Serbia. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, best practices, and test design techniques, with a focus on automation and API testing. You will collaborate closely with our development team to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and specifications. Use various test design techniques to ensure thorough coverage.
• Manual and Automated Testing: Execute manual tests and develop automated tests using Cypress to ensure that all software releases are stable, reliable, and meet the highest quality standards.
• API Testing: Perform API testing using tools like Postman or similar to validate functionality, reliability, and performance of software applications. Write and execute test cases to cover API endpoints, payloads, and error handling.
• Task Management: Utilize task management systems such as Azure DevOps to track test cases, log defects, and report on testing progress and quality metrics. Collaborate with developers to prioritize and resolve issues.
• Version Control: Work with version control systems like Git or TFS to manage and track changes in test scripts and documentation, ensuring alignment with software development practices.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential issues and improvements.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry trends to continuously improve testing practices and processes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and test design techniques.
• Experience writing and executing automation tests using Cypress or similar tools.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or similar.
• Proficiency in using task management systems such as Azure DevOps.
• Experience with version control systems like Git, TFS, or similar.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
