We are Sloj - bakery & bistro with our own production facility. 
We are looking for an experienced accountant to join our international team!

Key Responsibilities
Tax Accounting and Reporting:

• Calculate and ensure timely payment of all taxes in accordance with Serbian legislation.
• Communicate with the Serbian Tax Administration on all tax-related matters.
• Maintain accurate accounting records of income and expenses for correct tax reporting.

Payroll and HR Administration:

• Officially register employees in Central Register of Mandatory Social Insurance.
• Arrange employee insurance after obtaining residence permits.
• Calculate and process payroll.
• Manage records of vacations, sick leave, and other social benefits.
• Pay employee contributions (pension, health insurance, etc.).

Document Management:

• Receive, process, and organize primary documents (invoices, cash receipts, reconciliations, contracts).
• Process corporate card receipts for expense reimbursement and VAT recovery.
• Track raw material suppliers.
• Maintain analytical records of counterparties, debts, and payment deadlines. Create a daily payment schedule.
• Work with invoices from the eUprava portal.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience in all listed areas.
• Familiarity with local software solutions like Minimax, Kancelarko, MPP2, and similar.
• University degree in economics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an accountant.
• Knowledge of Serbian tax law.
• Ability to handle large amounts of information.
• Attention to details and responsibility.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Fluent English to work with international partners.

Job Conditions:

• Salary starting from 1600 € - depends on your work experience.
