Cheil Centrade Adriatic is a data-driven, digital performance agency, which is part of the global Cheil network. Cheil Centrade Adriatic is situated in Belgrade and acts as a regional hub for the Adriatic region, servicing clients in Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, and Albania.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
- Profit Centre Analysis relating to the contract/s (monthly), variance analysis for Budget and/or Forecasts.
- Tracking of spending on individual projects against budget.
- Work with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate coding and processing of relevant invoices.
- Maintain all relevant records and provide support with External and Internal Audits.
- Responsible for posting and controlling the gross balance on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis, correcting any irregularities if necessary.
- Responsible for the general ledger and preparation of financial statements in accordance with the regulations of the Republic of Serbia.
- Daily registration of banking operations: receipts and payments.
- Supervises the preparation of VAT returns and coordinates VAT refunds in compliance with the regulations of the Republic of Serbia.
- Prepares and submits necessary reports in accordance with the legal requirements and obligations of the Republic of Serbia.
- Determines all tax categories (property tax, withholding tax, corporate income tax), calculates depreciation for tax purposes, exchange rate differences, and other periodic calculations.
- Monitors and controls the company's receivables and liabilities.
- Monthly verification of accounting balances.
- Process and record payroll.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement of processes, models, forms and templates relating to the review and reporting of the profit and loss account as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant
- Experience in e-banking systems
- Proven experience as an accountant
- Knowledge of local and international legislation in finance and accounting
- Strong analytical skills paired with knowledge of financial analysis and business concepts
- Fluency in English
