Road Assistance / Truck Repair Agent

Our team is dedicated to ensuring that our fleet operates smoothly and efficiently, and we are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Truck Repair Agent to join our team.

Job Overview:

As a Truck Repair Agent, you will be responsible for providing critical assistance for trucks and trailers. You will work closely with our drivers to assess and resolve mechanical issues on the road. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to make decisions independently, and a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide roadside assistance to truck drivers and operators experiencing mechanical issues.
• Perform basic truck and trailer repairs, diagnosing and resolving problems as needed.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout the assistance process.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for both drivers and yourself.
• Make timely decisions and manage situations independently after training.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude when working with customers and team members.
• Record detailed information on repairs, actions taken, and follow-up requirements.
• Provide updates to management on assistance incidents and report on recurring issues.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in truck and trailer repair.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with drivers and team members.
• Excellent people skills, with the ability to build rapport with drivers and provide exceptional customer service under pressure.
• Proactive thinking and the ability to make quick decisions independently after initial training.
• Coachable with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new systems and techniques.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
