Safety Assistant

Key Responsibilities

Log Audits:

• Review driver hours for accuracy and completeness.
• Cross-check electronic logs with GPS data, BOLs, fuel purchases, inspection reports, and other relevant data sources.

Driver Support:

• Respond to driver inquiries related to Hours of Service (HOS) issues.
• Provide coaching and guidance to drivers to ensure compliance with HOS regulations.

Permit Management:

• Issue and manage state permits as needed for vehicle operation.

Accident Response:

• Answer accident-related calls and provide drivers with step-by-step guidance.
• Collect and document incident data and generate accident reports.
• Retrieve and review video footage related to incidents.
• Locate DOT-certified clinics and arrange post-accident drug and alcohol testing.
• Communicate with law enforcement and other relevant departments at the scene.

Qualifications & Skills

Language:

• Proficient in spoken and written English (required).

Work Ethic & Personality:

• Strong ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Follows instructions precisely and delivers accurate, high-quality work.

Experience:

• Previous experience in transportation safety, DOT compliance, or related fields is a plus, but not required.
• Training will be provided for the right candidate in Lithuania (for at least 1 month and could be longer)

We are looking for a person who would be willing to work one day on the weekend and also would be flexible.

1st option would be: Tuesday - Friday 7AM - 4PM CT + Saturday 6AM - 2PM CST (Saturday also could be 4AM - 12PM CT)

2nd option would be: Monday - Thursday 7AM - 4 PM + Sunday 4AM - 12 PM CST (Sunday also could be 6AM - 12PM CT)

Please keep in mind that this schedule would apply after training and only when we would feel that person is capable of making decisions by himself/herself. 

While training working hours would be: Monday - Friday 7AM CT - 4PM CST.
