For our team in Serbia we are seeking a:

SALES BUSINESS ANALYST

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for an analytically-oriented person with a sales mindset who will serve as a bridge between our sales team and controlling. This is not just a desk job - this is a position where your analyses directly impact business results and where you communicate daily with the entire sales team.

You will be working with the HoReCa channel (hotels, restaurants, cafes) for coffee and other products sales, where dynamics are high and every client has their own story.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Sales Analysis & Performance Management:

  • Monthly analysis of sales performance and detection of deviations from plan
  • Sales projections (YTG)
  • Preparation of budget and quarterly forecasts related to Sales
  • Early warning alerts for risky clients and potential lost customers
  • DSO analysis and monitoring of receivables collection
  • Monitoring investment/CAPEX realization and ROI analysis
  • Calculation and monitoring of average price trends by region/product
  • Analysis of customer base productivity and sales channel profitability
  • Creating ad hoc analytical reports for management

Sales Support & Communication:

  • Daily communication with sales team regarding operational matters
  • Verification of customers, conditions, discounts and coffee blends
  • Preparation of data for Sales meetings

Projects & Team Leadership:

  • Leading a team of 1-2 Sales Administration Specialists
  • Coordination with Sales, Controlling, IT and Accounting
  • Participation in operational projects and process optimization
  • Leading S4 Meinl (SAP Hana) implementation related to Sales Support

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

Education and Experience:

  • Has a Bachelor's degree or higher (preferably in Economics, Business, FON or technical faculties with a focus on analytics and business)
  • Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Controlling, Sales Support or similar positions
  • Has leadership experience (minimum 1-2 years of team management or lead position)
  • STRONG ADVANTAGE: Experience in FMCG, HoReCa or B2B sales

Technical Skills:

  • Masters advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, advanced formulas)
  • Excellent English language skills (written and spoken - minimum B2 level)
  • Knowledge of SAP systems - Strong advantage
  • Familiar with Power BI, Tableau or similar BI tools (preferred)
  • SQL basics - ability to extract data from database (preferred)

Competencies and Qualities:

  • Analytical mindset - ability to interpret data and extract insights
  • Excellent communication skills - can translate numbers into a story understandable to everyone
  • Understands sales processes and KPIs - we're not looking for an accountant but a business partner
  • Proactive - doesn't wait for instructions but seeks problems and solutions
  • Organized - can work on multiple projects simultaneously
