Senior Civil & Structure Engineer

Job Summary

CRBC is currently seeking to hire a Senior Civil & Structure engineer.

Our WWTP (Waste Water Treatment Plants) team has a vacancy for an experienced Senior Civil & Structure Engineer, to work on Clean Serbia Projects in Serbia.

We are currently delivering WWTP projects for clients across the Serbia. To help us to achieve our ambition we are expanding our team and are seeking individuals who have a sound technical background and share our enthusiasm and determination to deliver successful projects. They will preferably have experience of working collaboratively as part of a team developing a range of WWTP projects. The role will suit a self-motivated individual who is aspiring to take a key design manager role in delivering high quality projects assisting the WWTP Lead in the design development of management.

Minimum Requirements

The appropriate level of technical expertise is required to carry out the following responsibilities to the expected standards:

• Civil Engineer with experience of structure facilities design, such as concrete water tanks, prefabricated structure, monolithic concrete structure, steel structure, foundation pit slope stability, anti-uplifting, as well as other similar projects,
• At least 5 years of experience with license of 310, desirable in designing of structures, highly experienced in WWTP design
• Familiar with Serbian law about planning and construction, assist the employer in communicating with government authorities to complete all design-phase procedures
• In accordance with Serbia and EN standards, undertake the verification of the accuracy and rationality of all content in Volumes 2.1 and 10 completed by designers, control the design timeline based on client requirements, propose reasonable optimization suggestions to reduce costs, and enhance design implementability by incorporating feedback from the implementation team.
• Undertake communication with the supervisor to obtain approval for PZI design documents, and during the project implementation phase, revise the design or provide suggestions based on site conditions and supervisor feedback to resolve issues
• Supervise and mentor junior team members
• Good written and oral communication skills in English
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with construction laws and standards
• High degree of efficiency in work and focus on results
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience of WWTP structure design would be an advantage
• Experience in management of design would be an advantage
• With license both of 310 and 410 would be an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office and Auto Cad
• Proficiency in Tower, Midas or other professional software.
