Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the reliability, scalability, and automation of our infrastructure. You will be responsible for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring our high-traffic applications run smoothly in production environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (Azure, OCI or AWS) for performance, cost, scalability, and reliability
• Build and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of production systems
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and reduce release cycles
• Implement and manage tracing, logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Ensure security best practices are followed across infrastructure and deployment pipelines

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, security, or infrastructure engineering roles
• Strong expertise with cloud platforms (Azure, OCI or AWS)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes on on-premises infrastructure (bare-metal clusters, Rancher, OpenShift, or similar)
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (AzureDevops, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
• Solid scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog)
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and Linux system administration
• Experience supporting high-traffic, distributed systems
• Fluent level in English communication, both written and verbal
• Availability for frequent travel to client sites (Dubai)

Nice to Have: 

• Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
• Knowledge of database administration and optimisation
• Familiarity with GitOps practices (ArgoCD, Flux)
• Experience with cost optimisation strategies for cloud infrastructure
• Proficient knowledge of ELK stack
