We are looking for new team members who will shape the future of our new Corporate Finance Shared Service Center (CFSSC) in Novi Sad. As the CFSSC is being established, there is a greater opportunity to contribute to process improvement, operation optimization, and implementation of market best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Independently conduct the most complex and sensitive GL operations
• Analyse and resolve escalated issues related to GL operations
• Entering financial data and transactions into the ledger, accurately and efficiently
• Ensuring data accuracy by reviewing and verifying financial documents
• Analyzing financial information to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement
• Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts to ensure their integrity
• Providing financial recommendations based on the analysis of financial data
• Ensuring that financial records comply with regulatory standards and internal policies
• Generating financial reports on a regular basis to support decision-making processes
• Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support as needed
• Assisting in preparing taxes or gathering tax documents to support compliance requirements.
• Supporting auditors, controllers, and other financial professionals in their duties as required
• Supporting monthly and annual close processes by reconciling accounts and preparing necessary documentation
• Assisting various departments with accounting issues and queries to ensure smooth operations
• Performs other operational tasks as instructed by the immediate supervisor

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in the general ledger
• Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting
• Experience with SAP and MS Office suite
• Knowledge of accounting principles and processes
• Bookkeeping experience, chartered accountant, ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CMA is a plus
• Strong mathematical and numerical aptitude
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English
