About the team:


The GS/PSD1 (Global Services for Distribution) is globally responsible for warehousing and fine distribution processes. The field of activities includes the whole variety from management of logistic service providers, the design of warehouse managements system solutions, definition of lean and quality standards for warehouses and holistic process optimization. Data analytics is a key factor in this field to drive the improvement processes

Job Description

► You’ll collect and analyze data to reduce costs and increase efficiency 


► You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and get inputs for designing the scenarios 


► You’ll conduct studies to find optimal location of the facilities


► You’ll use software tools to create models and simulations of supply chain networks to evaluate different scenarios 


► You’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining ETL routines 

Qualifications

► Bachelor or Master in related business technology required (Business information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain preferred)


► Solid understanding of data modeling concepts

► Knowledge of Python data manipulation libraries e.g. Pandas

► Knowledge of SQL and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau

► Knowledge of ETL tools


► Experience in Airflow is a plus


► Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details


► Dedicated to developing clean and maintainable analysis code and ensuring the correctness of the evaluation results


► Ability to work independently and collaboratively in global environment


► Languages: Fluent verbal and written communication in English. German preffered.
