Tactical Supply Planner

About the job - Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Create a tactical supply plan (up to 9 months) aligned with demand forecasts, business assumptions, and risks, ensuring service and financial targets are met.
• Optimize the balance between production capacity, market demand, and inventory across internal and external manufacturing networks using anticipation and hedging strategies.
• Lead weekly purchase order management end-to-end, securing timely and feasible supply into all RDCs in line with the Production Network Strategy.
• Drive RDC inventory balancing across distribution nodes, maintaining optimal stock levels while minimizing rebalancing costs.
• Monitor inventory development and trigger corrective actions (shift-in, shift-out, cancellations) to prevent shortages or excess.
• Ensure strong integration between tactical and strategic planning through process standardization, governance routines, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to resolve constraints, manage risks, and deliver cost-efficient, customer-focused solutions.
• Enable a smooth handover to manufacturing, validating assumptions, confirming capacity, and translating plans into actionable inputs.
• Partner with manufacturing sites to align on priorities, capacity, and material availability, ensuring early visibility of changes.
• Own planning-critical master data quality and continuously improve planning systems and ERP tools to strengthen automation and data integrity.
• Ensure seamless integration between tactical and strategic planning horizons and drive continuous process improvements.

About you - We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:

• Proficiency in English (C1) for effective communication in a global environment.
• Strong process affinity and a structured mindset, with the ability to understand, connect, and improve end-to-end supply chain flows.
• Proven experience in tactical supply planning, inventory management, or related supply chain functions.
• Understanding of supply chain fundamentals: procurement, manufacturing planning, inventory optimization, logistics, and distribution.
• Hands-on experience with master data management and a strong awareness of its impact on planning accuracy and system reliability.5–7 years of relevant professional experience in supply chain management or planning.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Data Analytics is a plus).Advanced analytical skills and confidence in working with data to support decision-making.
• Experience with SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/HANA or similar planning systems.
• Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Pivot Tables, formulas) and experience with Power BI (DAX, dashboards).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse, international stakeholders.BA in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field; Data Analytics is a plus.
