About the role
The start date for the role will be January 12th.
This is a key role within the People Team and is focussed on not only the delivery of robust and high-quality services and support for our people, but also building and launching new services and ways of working.
You will be responsible for championing team members, and partnering with leaders across the business, to ensure we deliver our people strategy, which builds organisational and people capabilities to deliver business success. Working backwards from the needs of all N team members and key stakeholders, you will drive efficient and frustration free services across the company that are scalable, fit for purpose and future proof. Key to being successful will be using data to manage service delivery, mechanisms to inspect processes and constantly iterating and improving, whilst ensuring full legal compliance.

Specific duties and responsibilities:
- Working closely with the People Leadership Team to understand and execute the Talent strategy as a trusted advisor to the business.
- Ensuring the delivery of frustration free recruitment services across the company focusing on and evolving the candidate experience.
- Managing any issues and escalations in a timely and effective manner, identifying the root cause and solving for the immediate, but also for the future.
- Supporting managers with a range of queries and ad-hoc training
- Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (screening calls, interviews, tasks, etc.)
- Work with Hiring Managers to determine staffing needs across multiple sites; this could be permanent, fixed term or casual hires
- Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans taking into account the different locations across the UK we operate in
- Contribute towards employer branding initiatives and maintain internal and external reputation
- Conduct sourcing to fill open positions and pipeline future needs through a variety of direct sources (job adverts, headhunting, events, tactical activity, referral programmes, etc.)
- Manage recruitment coordination and administration effectively and compliantly (posting adverts, scheduling interviews, managing careers inbox, updating PinPoint (our ATS), etc.)
- Take steps to ensure positive candidate experience at all times
- Organise job fairs, assessment centres and other events
- Work in collaboration with our Onboarding team to ensure the highest levels of rigour
- Reducing risks by keeping us legal, safe, and compliant. Using mechanisms to inspect and quickly escalate and resolve as required.
- Ensuring the ongoing efficiency and integrity of our ATS, PinPoint and ensuring that it is being used to its full capability.
- Plan and track your recruitment activities
- Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement
- Take on projects and ad-hoc tasks to support the growth of the team and business
- Complete all of your necessary administration to a high standard
- Manage queries via the careers and/ or Flexi Bank inbox
- Working with curiosity to appropriately question, influence and advise to ensure the business assesses and understands the impacts of decisions on people.
- Delivering training to relevant stakeholders on Talent processes.
- Assisting the wider People team in projects to drive the success and growth of the function and business.
- Role modelling the N values and ways of working.
- Responsible for always adhering to the company's H&S policy: “Statement of Intent"
Working experience requirements:
- Proven experience as a skilled recruiter, using a variety of approaches to source talent
- Target driven with bags of motivation to not just reach but exceed your targets
- Strong understanding of all selection methods and techniques
- Proficiency in using social media and job boards
- Previous knowledge working with an Application Tracking System (ATS), if you have used PinPoint that’s a bonus
- Experience within the Early Years or Education sector (or related) would be an advantage
- Excellent business partnering skills (communication, relationship and stakeholder management)
