TeleTrader is announcing the following vacancy within Market Data Server (MDS) team:

Team Lead Market Data Server

Main Tasks:

• Lead and manage the team, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Coordinate tasks and activities among team members.
• Build and maintain server components that collect, process, distribute, and display real-time market data.
• Design and develop new server components or their parts.
• Enhance and optimize existing server components or their functionalities.
• Conduct research on new technologies applicable to the company’s needs.
• Provide mentorship to junior developers, including onboarding, monitoring progress, and offering active guidance.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, managing teams of developers and QA engineers
• 8+ years’ experience in backend software development and backend technologies
• In-depth knowledge of OOP, algorithms, multithreading and data structures
• Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Passion for developing clean, easy to maintain code with high-quality standards
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent written and spoken English
