Technical Writer

Quantum is treasury system, tailored for tier 1 corporates and banks. Our system enables our clients to manage their financial operation effectively.  The largest world corporations are our clients. They use Quantum to analyze data and report payments, cash management and flow, banking and accounting. We are doing development with other locations, mostly New Zealand. 

Our team is seeking technical writers, interested in creating end user documentation for our leading financial software system.

What you will be doing

As a technical writer, you will:

• create technical documentation: end user documentation, online help, web help, user guides, release information, and more
• support development team and release management regarding documentation, to ensure that specialized topics are appropriately addressed
• research and build knowledge about our products, services, technology, and concepts to be documented

You should enjoy and be skillful at:

• describing and explaining complicated ideas and functions with simple words and clear instructions
• working closely together, communicate, and cooperate with colleagues, for producing the best documentation result
• taking own initiative and responsibility to drive the documentation, and documentation solution and processes, forward

What you bring

• bachelor degree in technical sciences, finance, philology, or similar
• 1-2 years working experience as technical writer
• experience of working in a technical writing position in enterprise software industry or finance industry
• excellent people and communication skills with fluency in English
• proficiency in MS Office
• proficiency in MadCap Flare is an advantage, but not necessary
