Key responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage, train, and evaluate warehouse staff performance.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to maximize efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet shipping deadlines and customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Prepare and analyze operational reports and metrics.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control measures.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into warehouse management systems.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient English language.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- 3 years of warehouse management experience.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures and best practices.
