We seek only the best candidates. Our screening process include review of all received CV's, where we aim to find match between published vacant job ad and stated experience. Call for interviews are being sent to shortlisted candidates which match required criteria. Candidates which are not receiving call for interview will be notified about it. At Foster + Svensson we reply to every candidate, since we are aware that finding new job is hard. If candidate spend enough time to prepare it's CV, to read our job ad and apply for, we believe that it deserves a decent reply. We do stand for changes in HR trends on the market, and opposing to practice of not replying to candidates. That is why we at Foster + Svensson reply to every received job application.
When interview is scheduled, we pay attention to create free time slots between held interviews, in order to avoid candidates meeting each other, and where we respect candidate privacy. During interview we firstly present our agency, ourselves, our work, and start discussion about vacant job ad. We do intent to create pleasant atmosphere, since we are aware that job interviews may be stressful for the candidates. Therefore, we aim to create friendly environment during discussion, to be open, and match details from CV with job requirements. No personal questions are being asked during interviews, neither tests performed. In case job position requires, we may ask for portfolio of previous work. We want to meet the person which came on the interview and see how it will fit with the rest of the team. Also, we do expect open discussion and that candidate will present itself in a best manner.
Upon finished interview, we are defining deadline, which will be a final date for sending notification on selection, or send 2nd call for the shortlisted interview in case of need.
If candidate is selected, we are sending LOI (letter of intent) with proposal to become our colleague. LOI document is consisted of job title, job department, role and responsibilities, job requirements and hiring offer. If accepted, we are creating an employment contract and defining employment start date. This is where we welcome our new colleague onboard.
