Policy and Process Implementation
- Implement and monitor compliance with export control laws
- Localize and apply global standards and procedures
- Conduct internal reviews of export control processes
- Act as the main point of contact for all export control–related inquiries at local level
- Monitor changes in national legislation and ensure timely adjustments to processes
- Prepare and maintain required documentation and audit trails
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders in implementing export control policies across business functions
Operational Execution
- Manage export control checks and resolve related blocks in IT systems (e.g., SAP GTS)
- Escalate high-risk issues to central Export Control leadership and local commercial management
- Maintain full documentation in accordance with internal and external audit requirements
Monitoring and Reporting
- Perform ongoing monitoring of daily operations for compliance risk
- Report to global Export Control leadership and local commercial leadership
- Execute annual compliance reviews and issue reports to designated stakeholders
- Maintain communication with local authorities and manage license applications
- Represent the company in external audits and investigations related to export control
Education
- University degree in Business Administration, International Business Law, Trade Compliance, or a related field
Experience
- Several years of relevant experience in export control
- Deep understanding of national export control regulations
- Experience working in a multinational or matrix organization is preferred
- Experience with ERP and compliance systems (SAP GTS preferred)
