• Minimum 3 years of experience in leading a high-volume business, ideally in a food-related field.
• Previous experience in a customer facing environment.
• Proven track-record in operational management such as instore logistics, inventory, production, serving and sustainability.
• Passion for setting up processes from end to end with dedication to detail and operational excellence.
• Ability to follow up and measure performance while capturing learnings to further improve.
• Self-reliant and self-motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

About the job:

Food Operations Manager is accountable for delivering an exceptional food experience in all food areas by leading the process from ordering and receiving goods to fulfilling necessary standards for serving impeccable food to IKEA food customers.

About the assignment

• Implement, monitor and follow up end-to-end processes and procedures to ensure high food quality and seamless customer service.
• Lead and manage food logistic chain for efficient ordering, production and inventory levels.
• Work on supporting and developing food safety frameworks together with Food Safety Specialist.
• Actively support commercial agenda, events and activities, by cooperating with Food Commercial Manager.
• Contribute to achieving short and long-term business plans by collaborating across departments, securing adaptable business plans and implementing global and national strategies.
• Be an active player in working on sustainability within food by monitoring waste processes and supporting waste reduction initiatives.
• Ensure that all food areas and equipment is maintained and in full working order.
• Identify, recruit, hire, and develop the many talents interested in IKEA Food.
• Lead a lean, diverse and high performing Food Operations team.
