HR Analytics & Compensation Planning Specialist
Location: Belgrade
What will you do?
You will be the expert in HR cost analytics and compensation planning. You will connect HR and Finance to ensure transparency, accuracy, and strategic insight into all HR-related costs. Your work will directly influence workforce planning, budgeting decisions, and business performance.
You will:
- Develop and maintain compensation and benefits models, ensuring internal consistency and external competitiveness
- Lead the annual HR budgeting process and provide regular forecasts for headcount, benefits, bonuses, recruitment, and training costs
- Monitor employment cost allocation by cost centers and deliver clear reports for HR and Finance teams
- Prepare monthly HR cost reports with YTD and YoY comparisons, including variance analysis against business targets
- Manage and maintain FTE data with standardized rules to enable consistent comparisons across teams and time periods
- Analyze time and attendance data to identify trends that affect productivity and payroll
- Create reports that align and explain data between HR and Finance, reconciling budgets and headcount
- Oversee accruals for HR costs and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Guide HR Business Partners, Finance stakeholders, and department leaders through planning, reporting, and forecasting processes
- Ensure data consistency and audit readiness across all HR financial areas
What do we expect from you?
- Professional experience in HR analytics, compensation planning, finance, or controlling
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with HRIS or budgeting tools (Power BI or similar is a plus)
- Attention to detail and a strong ability to turn complex data into practical business insights
- A proactive mindset and the confidence to partner with both HR and Finance teams
- Solid understanding of FTE calculations, payroll structures, compensation frameworks, and cost forecasting
- Ability to identify data inconsistencies, solve problems, and suggest process improvements
