In Serbia, Japan Tobacco International started its operations in 2003, when the office for Marketing and Sales was opened in Belgrade. In May 2006 JTI acquired Senta Tobacco Industry. Branch office of JT International a.d. Senta in Belgrade - is a center for managing business of the company in the Western Balkans.

Leaf Processing and Engineering Intern
Based in a factory in Senta, Serbia

What will you do?
- Support projects, including, technical design, specifications, scope of work, budgets and schedules, and implementation;
- Taking part in technical maintenance, repairing and modernization of equipment, and support maintenance of technical systems, production lines and Industrial Automation Control Systems;
- Co-ordinate between contractors and other engineering factory activities;
- Participate in planning of equipment and production line maintenance and assisting in creation of instructions and procedures;
- Learn about applications which are used in controlling the quality of tobacco processing and, if necessary, use them in the work;
- Monitor the flow and quality of tobacco processing and packing, keep track of processing data and preapare daily reports;
What are we looking for?
- Final year student or recent graduate, Technical or Technological University degree (Electronics preferably);
- Good Knowledge of English and Serbian language (written and spoken);
- PC literacy: MS Office
