We are looking for a dynamic, proactive team player with genuine integrity, desire to ensure the development, validation, communication and efficient implementation of new or changing items/services to strengthen our Supply Chain in Surčin, Belgrade, on the position of:
Materials Planner Team Lead
Replacement for maternity leave
Main purpose of the job is to ensures availability of materials to fulfill the requirements of the production plans within the agreed cost boundaries. A day in the life of Materials Planner Team Lead:
- Creates and controls the optimal plan for the ordering of raw materials and packaging, that ensures supply of material to production while ensuring that the working capital targets for raw and packaging materials are met; provides support to materials planners in communication with key suppliers and the Procurement sector
- Identifies risk factors related to the supply of materials and eliminates or reduces them, in close cooperation with all partners, FSC, P2P, Supplier, Fico, QA, and ensures long-term stability of the entire portfolio by stock cover control, with a focus on the most frequent materials and best-selling finished products
- Coordinates the stock cover process, monitors materials in stock and their output, manages and coordinates materials that have reduced demand or no needs in the system and presents risks and opportunities for the consumption of such materials
- Actively participates in the process of eliminating or reducing material write-off by proactive reporting, coordination of material consumption through cooperation with FSC, FiCo, DSP, P2P, Production
- Monitors announced changes to the portfolio (switch materials) and coordinates the proper transition from one code to another, collaborates with project managers and ensures the availability of materials on time for all phases of the project (trials and regular production).
- Strategically manages the process of claims related to materials, coordinates the return of inadequate materials to suppliers and ensures compensation and collection of credit notes from suppliers (Claim management); regularly reports on pending cases and monitors resolution of Claims through cooperation with the Procurement sector
Reports to:
- For accurate and timely performance of work, the employee reports to Factory Supply Chain Manager – Factory Surčin
What will make you successful?
- University degree and 2 or more years of relevant work experience in supply chain envirement
- Self-management” and Team Management through proactive monitoring of KPIs and goals
- Knowledge of SAP system required
- You are a proactive person with data-driven thinking and result focus.
- You are able to see the bigger picture beyond the scope of the role
- You are able to challenge the current status quo and drive changes
- You show openness and curiosity for new ideas and opportunities
- You have knowledge of English language, both written and spoken
- You are advanced user of MS Office package
