Network Controlling Accountant

The company EKO SERBIA a.d., a member of the Helleniq Energy Group, an energy leader in Greece and the region of Southeast Europe, operates in Serbia through a retail network of 59 gas stations under the EKO brand. For the company’s needs, we are looking for motivated candidates for the position Network Controlling Accountant.

Job description:

• Provides accounting, bookkeeping and administrative services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate accounting and administration of the Company’s cash and inventories kept on the network;
• Accountable for monitoring, controlling and reconciliation of cash, credit cards, checks, fleet transactions with sales;
• Ensures the effective, efficient and accurate daily reconciliation between the POS system and main operating system for sales transactions;
• Ensures that all payment card related sales are accounted for and cleared with bank payments in accordance with company policies;
• Perform monthly reconciliation of sales for all petrol stations in accordance with local legislation, creates journal entries and assembles supporting documentation;
• Monitoring, controlling and participation of mini market stock counts and cash controls;
• Providing journal entries and necessary calculations related to mini market stock counts;
• Month end closing activities in previously agreed deadlines.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum Higher school degree (economics background) or University degree of Economics background;
• Relevant work experience in accounting (providing accounting, bookkeeping and administrative services);
• English Language;
• MS Office skills;
• Active driver (B category).
