Customer Quality Engineer

We are looking for:

Your responsibilities:

• Monitor plant indicators (scrap, failure cost) and lead problem-solving to prevent customer claims, including risk assessment and production/delivery stops when necessary
• Act as contact point for customer in relation to technical questions, for error limitation, risk assessment, and measure definition for already delivered components
• Manage existing and new projects, relocations from other Nidec companies, to secure Customer approvals
• Lead relocations of Projects from other Nidec companies, manage safe launch period and projects in serial life 
• Manage customer complaints, concessions, deviations, and PPAP submissions in line with CSR and Nidec procedures
• Conduct internal and customer audits (VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5, LPA) and coordinate sorting activities in Nidec and customer plants
• Analyze and report customer performance metrics, providing accurate feedback to production, R&D, QA, and management
• Prepare and approve quality documentation (inspection plans, control plans, work instructions) to ensure compliance with customer requirements
• Monitor and manage claim costs, failure costs, and process data using SAP, PQM, MES, and traceability tools

Our requirements:

• University degree in technical science
• 2 or more years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge / experience with QS9000 (PPAP, APQP)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949 and VDA Norms
• Good experience with the Automotive Core Tools
• Experience in the professional handling of Customers
• Experience in technical and commercial evaluation of the customer complaint reports in compliance with the specified deadlines as well as in the field complaints including the warranty decision
• Fluency in English language
