Purpose
As an Agile Enablement Catalyst at Roche, you will be responsible for coordinating and enhancing Agile ceremonies, empowering Squad Leads, and driving continuous process improvements within teams. This role fosters effective communication and collaboration both within and across Squads, mentors team members in facilitation skills, and champions Agile values. You will support the organization of workshops and events in close collaboration with the Business Enabler & Agile Coach, while actively engaging with Agile communities to keep the Affiliate aligned with evolving best practices and ways of working. Additionally, you will proactively identify opportunities to advance innovation, strengthen culture, and boost engagement throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Squad team ceremonies, including weekly meetings, reviews, planning sessions, and retrospectives, based on team needs and aligned with the defined agenda;
- Collaborate with Squad Leads to prepare meeting agendas, align on priorities, and provide regular feedback before and after team meetings;
- Document team meeting minutes and facilitatedworkshops including agreements, accountability, deadlines, challenges, conclusions;
- Maintain a team repository - Trello, Lucid or other relevant tools;
- Propose and implement improvements to Squad workflows, aligned with the dedicated Leadership Team member (e.g. ceremony cadence, agendas, Ways of Working);
- Advocate for Agile values and principles through leading by example;
- Design, prepare, and facilitate affiliate workshops (e.g., brainstorming, prioritization, discovery, feedback) as needed, aligned with defined priorities;
- Identify learning needs within Squads and recommend or develop targeted trainings from the Roche network to address skill gaps;
- Coach, mentor, and support dedicated Squad members in developing facilitation skills and conducting effective team meetings as planned;
- Provide timely and relevant feedback on skill development after trainings by collaborating closely with Squad Leads;
- Organize and coordinate OBP events held three times a year in collaboration with the dedicated Leadership Team member, including agenda preparation, facilitation, follow-up, and documentation;
- Collaborate closely with the dedicated Leadership Team member to implement strategies and drive improvements in Squad meetings and Affiliate processes;
- Engage with the Roche Agile and OBP communities to share best practices, tools, and learnings, ensuring the Affiliate stays updated on relevant PI Ways of Working standards and requirements;
- Proactively identify changes in Ways of Working, culture, or skills by assessing the Affiliate and Squads to uncover opportunities or challenges affecting innovation and engagement.
Requirements & Qualifications
- University degree is required;
- At least 2 years of experience working with Agile teams;
- Experience with Agile principles (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives); basic Scrum and/or Agile certification will be considered as an advantage;
- Technical proficiency, including experience with Google Workspace and project management tools (e.g. Trello) and creative collaboration platforms (e.g., Miro, Lucid);
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, priorities, and deliverables effectively;
- Strong facilitation skills, capable of guiding productive discussions and workshops;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Proficiency in the English language (written and spoken);
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes;
- Collaborative team player who is open-minded, committed to making a meaningful impact, and eager for continuous growth and development.
