For our AMETEK CTS business unit, we are looking for a SIOP Manager (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) at our location in Subotica, Serbia.

Position summary:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven SIOP Manager to develop and lead the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning process. The purpose is to ensure optimal alignment between demand forecasts, production capacity, and optimized inventory levels across our factories worldwide. This strategic role is critical in ensuring seamless coordination across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance, to ensure that the company’s objectives are met while maintaining a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, cross-functional leadership, and a solid understanding of manufacturing environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, lead, and facilitate the monthly SIOP process to align demand forecasts, production capacities, optimized inventory levels, and financial plans
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Procurement, and Finance to create and maintain a reliable demand forecast, and to anticipate demand fluctuations
- Lead monthly SIOP meetings to review performance, discuss challenges, and adjust operational plans
- Drive consensus between business functions to ensure a balanced supply and demand plan
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and operational capacity to recommend optimal inventory strategies
- Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and produce regular reports on SIOP performance, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, and plan adherence
- Identify gaps between demand and supply, and develop initiatives to address them
- Support product lifecycle management including new product introduction (NPI) and end-of-life planning (phase-out)
- Improve SIOP tools, systems, and processes to drive continuous improvement and scalability
- Present SIOP insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
Position requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field; APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) preferred
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning or operations planning, preferably in the electronic devices industry
- Proven experience leading or participating in the SIOP/IBP (Integrated Business Planning) process
- Strong analytical and data modeling skills
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and demand planning tools
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset
- Familiarity with financial planning and budgeting processes will be considered as an advantage
- Proficiency in English
- Availability to travel occasionally between production sites.
