Sports Marketing Manager establishes Red Bull as a strong consumer-focused brand by designing and executing a short-, mid- and long-term sports program achieving strong credibility for the product and brand. Shows perfect brand awareness and offers personal experiences to our consumers. Adds actuality to our brand by following the global Red Bull sport strategy, the general brand habits/principles, and by completing and implementing global and international sports programs and portfolios. Be the reference of the brand values for the rest of Departments and employees within the company.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Selecting relevant national sports personalities with a perfect brand fit and optimise impact and efficiency via professional target set-ting and controlling.
- Servicing with the best individual package (performance, marketing, communication).
- On-going optimisation of these co-operations.
- Provide creative improvements (the range of disciplines/sports/playgrounds are (nearly) unlimited).
- Design, develop and improve an in-novative and outstanding national event programme by inventing and executing new event and athletes' projects.
- Develop concepts that are tailor-made and highly relevant for re-gional and national consumer groups, that offer personal experiences to participants and specta-tors and creates unique media con-tent.
- Establish Red Bull as a credible and functional beverage in the national sports landscape (sport scenes, opin-ion leaders, sport industry, agencies, media, federations, authorities etc.)
- Maximise usage of Red Bull’s global athletes and event portfolio by us-ing international Red Bull athletes and sending national participants (Red Bull athletes or other) to for-eign Red Bull activities.
- Design and contribute unique stories, interesting topics, new formats and top media content for Red Bull Media House and answer all sports-related consumer requests
- Responsible for Brand appearances in national sport programs (including Fields) according to international benchmarks and guidelines
- Responsible for information transfer (both directions) via the Red Bull In-foNet for all sports-related topics (updated athletes and event fact sheets, calendars, contacts etc.)
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
- Studies in general marketing, sports marketing, business or media
- At least 4 years of previous work experience in sports industry, sport, events or marketing agency, sport institution or federation, or as a journalist, professional athlete or trainer.
- Ability to design and organize events and projects of all scales (budgets from € 1k – 1,000k).
- Able to pursue a global company vision: management of strategic, marketing, communication, logistic, finance, legal and sales-oriented challenges.
- Ability to select service and manage athletes based on sportive performance, marketing, and communication facts.
- An understanding of sports-performance, specialist knowledge and experience.
- Leadership, motivation, innovation, and team skills.
- Creative, innovative, open-minded, sporty, self-conscious, motivated, capable of working in a team, leadership quality.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Fluency in English
