EHS Engineer (Maternity leave)

Your job specification

Drive EHS initiatives by participating in the Plant team, collaborating with top management to set goals, manage risks, and monitor environmental performance and cost-saving targets
Provide expert support to local EHS programs, defining goals, aligning with Brose standards and legal requirements, and communicating with contractors and regulatory bodies
Implement global programs related to environmental protection, occupational health & safety, and fire prevention at the factory level, including waste reduction strategies
Ensure ongoing compliance with local, corporate, and regulatory safety standards through inspections, assessments, documentation, and reporting
Lead and support ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 certification processes, including internal/external audits and documentation of the Integrated Management System
Conduct training to ensure all employees understand EHS policies, risks, and fire protection measures; regularly perform risk assessments and safety checks
Investigate workplace incidents and near-misses, using root cause analysis to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence
Contribute to factory-level projects focused on environmental sustainability, health and safety, and energy efficiency; prepare technical designs, scopes, and execution plans

Your profile

Bachelor's degree preferably in technical field
Previous experience on similar position
Knowledge and understanding of government regulations, safety and environmental compliance
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as organizational skills
Certificate of passing a professional exam in the field of OSH
Certificate of passing a professional exam in the field of fire protection
Advanced knowledge of MS Office
Fluent English language skills
