Senior Operations & Support Engineer
- Monitor and maintain connected mobile solutions containing sensors, cloud applications, and microservices
- Manage and operate cloud-based applications and remote devices
- Monitor and ensure system uptime, security, stability, and performance while identifying issues
- Process and resolve anomalies in the cloud system and on remote devices
- Manage software rollout campaigns for production devices
- Administer devices and customer services
- Handle incident and request management from identification to resolution, including prioritization and/or escalation
- Improve and automate frequent daily operational tasks and processes
- Work with concepts, ticket systems, monitoring tools, and operational tasks
- Transfer knowledge to team members and provide mentoring
- Track and report key performance metrics
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Structured, goal-oriented approach with methodical and analytical working style
- Proficient in English (spoken and written); German language skills are beneficial
- Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure or AWS) and connected devices
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Grafana), ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA), and MS Office (especially Word and Excel)
- Knowledge of data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or VBA) is beneficial
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, or proven track record of practical experience
