PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Conduct procurement procedures from the request of business up to the contracting for the large and mediumsized tenders. Everything should be in line with business needs and Group procurement strategy with the specific field of procurements in Retail and Logistics. Follow defined sourcing process and contribute to implementation of category strategies with applying best practice methods in order to achieve optimal results for the company, in accordance with internal procedures.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Source-to-Contract
- Conduct competitive tendering within buyer’s scope
- Prepare required documentation for evaluation committees
- Facilitate evaluation committees
- Conduct contract negotiations
- Create contracts according to current financial, legal, HSSE, and category management requirements
- Ensure contract implementation
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities
- Conduct low value sourcing incl. selection and contracting of suppliers
Performance Management
- Ensure achievement of defined objectives and KPIs including delivery of savings targets
- Proactively responding and informing superiors about possible issues, complaints, and other cases that require resolution
- Actively develops and maintains closer collaboration with other department members in/outside of Procurement based on the area of expertise
- Prepare status reports regarding sourcing activities
Plan-to-Strategy
- Contribute to monitoring of market developments, innovations and technology trends
- Implement activities from category strategy
- Contribute to annual procurement planning
Operational Procurement
- Contribute to operational procurement in monitoring and expediting of deliveries
- Contribute to claim management
- Master Data Management
- Contribute to master data management (materials, vendors, categories) of operational procurement
Supplier Relationship Management
- Represent escalation level for incidents
- Ensure onboarding and pre-qualification of suppliers
- Solve supplier related incidents
- Contribute to supplier performance evaluation
EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:
University (MA/MSc) or College (BA/BSc) in the field of Economics/Engineering/Law
Professional competencies: Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Category management
Skills: Experience in leading tenders, Skilled in contract negotiations, Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory environment, Teamwork, Strong ethical principles
Work experience: 3-5 years of relevant work experience
Foreign Languages: English C1, local language is required
IT skills: Applications in the field of work, Advanced Microsoft Office user, eProcurement, ERP system
Other: Preferable driving license (B category)
