Logistics Manager

About position:

Organizing and managing logistics processes in order to produce high-quality products according to a predefined schedule that meet the requirements of the Customer, and according with production plans and with minimal costs.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, organizing and managing activities in the logistics sector;
• Creating, organizing and controlling procurement of raw materials;
• Organizing the reception of materials and taking care of the quality of supply;
• Organizing the shipment of finished products, including activities related to prestorage;
• Working on making a production plan related to logistics;
• Participating in negotiations with suppliers;
• Organizing the registration of materials and finished products;
• Organizing monthly meetings to agree on capacities;
• Taking care of complaints about the number and range of pieces;
• Performing permanent control of all organizational parts and daily monitoring and recording the performance of each employee in the logistics department;

Qualifications:

• Work experience in the automotive industry for a minimum of 5 years;
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in same or similar leading positions;
• University Degree (preferably in technical sciences, economy or business field);
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office;
• Excellent knowledge of automotive standard requirements (IATF 16949);
• Solid knowledge of JIT/JIS systems;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellent knowledge of English language;
• Solid knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
• Experience in working with foreign customers (production of covers and seats)
• Experience in LEAN methodology / Six Sigma
