About the role and the Team:
As Payroll and Benefits Lead you will be responsible for payroll operations, ensuring that all payments are accurate and on time and that appropriate and precise information is provided to the payroll agent, management, and other statutory bodies.
You will administer the benefits package that we offer and make sure employee data is up to date and promote awareness of our benefits. You will also support the people services team as required and provide ad hoc assistance to the People Services Manager.
What will you be doing?
Payroll Delivery
- Data and reports preparation needed for payroll process, such as employee absences, overtime, salary changes, personal details changes, administrative bans and salary deductions and making sure all data is correctly gathered and passed on to our payroll provider. Please note, you are not required to work on payroll calculations but must ensure accurate payroll payments.
- Working within HRIS to pull monthly reports for payroll and benefits related processes
- Manage the payroll, expenses and benefits function and the delivery of an effective, accurate and timely service to employees and the company
- Ensure that all processes are properly actioned and are compliant and in line with company policy and tax legislation, and that all staff salaries are paid accurately and on time
- Monitoring of payroll mistakes to allow us to recover payments as necessary
- Manage external stakeholders and ensure that correct payments are made, and appropriate information provided to third parties.
- Provide subject matter expert advice to all staff, continually improve service delivery and demonstrate first class customer service to employees

Continuous Improvement
- Identify gaps and opportunities in the payroll and benefits systems
- Work closely with external providers and the HR Systems and Data Analysts to deliver enhancements required to improve service delivery or changes in compliance
- Participate in system led projects that impact payroll. expensed and HR systems and taking the lead where appropriate
Internal Facilitator
- Establish and build good working relationships within internal stakeholders to aid successful payroll
- Coordinating between key stakeholder (both internal and external) to ensure excellent service
What we are looking for:
- Relevant experience processing payroll & benefits administration.
- At least 2 years of experience in HR Administration and Payroll function
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and an advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
- You have excellent knowledge and understanding of Serbian labor law, as well as HR procedures and policies.
